The History of M-3 & Associates

M-3 & Associates, Inc. began in 1987 as a distributor to the overhead door industry. In 1995, a dual-spring assist system was designed for ramp doors in the enclosed trailer industry. This system provided new levels of safety and ease of adjustment. The spring system proved so popular that the company gradually left the overhead door industry and concentrated on the enclosed trailer market.

Since then the company has become an A.L. Hansen Mfg. distributor of hardware products for the trailer industry. A 500-watt aluminum recessed halogen light manufactured by M-3 was added to the product line in 2001. This light comes completely assembled for ease of installation.

Recently, the company has expanded the line of barlocks and cambars. Barlocks are now available with a choice of finishes. Currently we offer zinc, E-Coat, Powder Coat and chrome finish on our steel barlocks. Aluminum cambars and barlocks are also available.

M-3 continues to focus on quality products with prompt delivery.
